Frankie's Forecast is operated by Lion Project LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our application and services.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our services:

• Account information: Your email address, name, and password when you create an account.
• Relationship information: Details you provide about your relationship, preferences, and goals during onboarding.
• Cycle data: Menstrual cycle information (last period date, cycle length) you enter for your partner to enable hormonal forecasting.
• Usage data: How you interact with the app, including coaching conversations, locker items, and forecast history.

How We Use Your Information

• Personalized forecasts: We use cycle data and relationship information to generate daily hormonal forecasts and coaching advice tailored to your situation.
• Service improvement: We analyze usage patterns to improve forecast accuracy and app features.
• Account management: We use your email to manage your account, send service-related communications, and process subscriptions.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade PostgreSQL databases with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), secure authentication tokens, and row-level security policies to protect your information.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Frankie's Forecast:

• Stripe: Processes subscription payments. Stripe handles all payment card data directly and is PCI-DSS compliant. We never store your credit card information.
• Anthropic (Claude AI): Powers our AI-generated forecasts and coaching responses. Conversation data is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models.
• Supabase: Provides authentication and database services for secure data storage.

Data Sharing & Consent Management

Frankie's Forecast operates on a strict opt-in model for all data sharing. No data is shared with any third party unless you explicitly enable it. You control five distinct consent categories from your dashboard:

• Service Improvement Analytics: Anonymized usage patterns to improve forecast accuracy and features. Data stays on our servers and is seen only by our engineering team.
• University Research Partnerships: Anonymized, aggregate data shared with IRB-approved university studies on relationship health. All data passes through our anonymization pipeline with k-anonymity guarantees (minimum cohort size of 10).
• Aggregate Industry Insights: Statistical aggregates included in reports for licensed B2B partners (therapists, wellness brands, researchers). No individual-level data is ever shared.
• Product Updates & Tips: Promotional emails about new features and relationship tips. Only your email address is used.
• Wearable Biometric Processing: Processing of data from connected wearables (Oura, Fitbit, WHOOP) to enhance forecast accuracy. This data is never shared externally.

Every consent change is logged with a timestamp in an immutable audit trail. Revoking consent is immediate — no cooling-off periods, no delays. You can view your full consent history and manage all settings from your dashboard or settings page.

Anonymization & Privacy Guarantees

When you opt into data sharing, the following safeguards are enforced:

• k-Anonymity: All aggregate datasets require a minimum cohort size of 10 users. Any data bucket with fewer entries is suppressed entirely.
• No PII in outputs: User IDs, names, email addresses, and exact dates are never included in any shared dataset.
• Date bucketing: All dates are rounded to month level to prevent temporal re-identification.
• Statistical aggregates only: Shared data consists exclusively of averages, distributions, and percentages — never individual records.
• Immutable audit trail: Every data access request from research partners and B2B clients is logged and auditable.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access your data (GDPR Art. 15): Request a complete export of your personal data directly from your dashboard. We aim to fulfill export requests within 72 hours.
• Delete your data (GDPR Art. 17): Request permanent deletion of all your personal data. This action is irreversible and includes all forecasts, coaching history, relationship scores, and profile data.
• Withdraw consent: Revoke any or all data sharing consent at any time from your dashboard. Revocation is immediate and affects all future data processing.
• Update your information: You can update your profile, relationship details, and cycle data at any time through the app.
• Data portability (GDPR Art. 20): Your exported data is provided in a machine-readable JSON format.
• Object to processing: You can object to any specific category of data processing via the granular consent controls on your dashboard.

Note: Previously processed anonymized aggregate data cannot be individually removed from anonymized datasets, as it contains no personally identifiable information by design.

Cookies

Frankie's Forecast uses essential cookies and local storage to maintain your authentication session and store your preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
